A parent is a child's first teacher. Research has shown that parents and caregivers have a profound impact on a child's success in school as well as in life. We are providing you with some information and activities that will support you though your parenting journey.
We believe Big Box, Little Box will have a more profound impact on children if they are actively involved in learning. A story can take on new meaning if children's imaginations are engaged. Encouraging children to draw a scene, play games, sing songs, and/or discuss the plot will capture their interest and promote their literacy skills.

Author visits are a great way to get students excited about literacy and writing. Invite us to your school. We speak at school assemblies and can include classroom visits. We also speak at PTA's, family reunions, churches, etc. Any presentation can be customized to your groups' needs.
